5 For Friday!

Here are some tips and tools from the week that have helped our family and team.

1. Want more time for yourself? Getting up earlier was my solution. I was searching for an alarm without disturbing Shahana and it seems the Phillips Wake up Light is working well. Instead of a noise startling you, it emits low level light 10 min before your wake up time, before you know it you will be naturally opening your eyes and ready to get out of bed.

2. Things to do list: Start with the most important items and make your way down. If the item shows up on the list more than 3 days in a row. Delete it, it’s clearly not important. Focus on the 20% of things that will get you 80% of the results.

3. What rules do you have for yourself that are non- negotiable? Tom Bilyeu stated one of his rules was getting out of bed within 10min of waking up. I’m trying to practice this one but certainly it can be a challenge.

4. Food Feature: Sauerkraut which is a German dish of fermented cabbage has been shown to encourage stem cell growth in the intestines and prevent inflammation.  – From the book Eat to Beat Disease by William Li
