Here are some tips and tools from the week that have helped our family and team.

1. Back to School: You’ve probably heard sitting is the new smoking. Reduce your child’s hunch back position and consider investing in a standup desk. Good spinal hygiene starts at an early age. Here is an example of one for a child 5-8 and one for older children and teenagers.download

Cold Showers: I’v been taking daily cold showers in the morning and it’s the one thing I can count on to give me an extra boost of energy and clear my mind. There are countless studies showing the anti-inflammatory effects on the body, benefits for your immune system, management of anxiety and depression. Challenge yourself with a cold shower, I promise you will learn something about yourself. It will help you face your fears for the day.
