14 day old Beautiful Breelyn Gets Chiropractic Check up! Find out Why!

Breelynn Spinal Check Up

What could cause a problem with a babies spine?  A study performed by an American Osteopath, Dr. Viola Frymann, found that of the 1500 babies checked within 24 hours after birth, 90% of them had suffered birth trauma and associated strain through the neck and cranial areas. 90%!

Many of these strains are caused by trauma of the birthing process, abnormal positioning in the uterus or congenital abnormalities. Another study where more than 1000 infants were examined concluded that approximately 80% of all newborns had some form of nerve dysfunction, often involving the upper neck.

How do we know if there is a problem? After all, these babies can’t tell us? Often the symptoms can range from  irritability, poor sleep and breastfeeding, spitting up, colicky, difficulty turning head or walking and hyperactivity.

Keep in mind there are also other causes of these symptoms, such an infant having a lactose intolerance to formula, causing them to spit up.

When no answers can be found, often parents are left in the dark, all the while Chiropractic can offer a potential solution.

Chiropractic adjustments differ greatly from that which an adult would receive. Adjusting the spine of an infant is similar in pressure you would use to checking the ripeness of a tomato. There is zero twisting, popping or clicking. Here at our office we specialise in the Activator Method.

By correcting nerve inferences in their spine the baby’s body can now function as it was intended and often symptoms start to clear. Here is an article on adjusting my son and the things I found at 13 months.

When there are no symptoms, often a Chiropractic check up maybe the best check up your child gets. After all the spine protects the nervous system like your skull protects your brain.

Here for you 100%
